This morning reminded me why I never leave the house without representing my business.
I was delivering packages during my day job, wearing a T-shirt that I designed and made myself.
When I arrived at one of my drop-off locations, a sweet lady stopped me and said,
"Oh my God...that shirt is beautiful!"
After I thanked her, I told her, "I actually made it."
Her response?
"You're so talented! Do you have a website?"
I smiled and said, "Yes, I do," and handed her one of the business cards that I also designed myself.
She complimented the card just as much as she did the shirt.
💡 That's when it hit me...
Sometimes you don't have to chase opportunities.
Sometimes they find YOU.
Your next customer could be standing in line behind you.
Your next connection could happen while running errands.
Your next blessing could be waiting at your everyday job.
The key is being prepared.
✔️ Represent your brand.
✔️ Carry your business cards.
✔️ Be ready to talk about what you do.
